Vittoria still uses a specific tread compound, the Kevlar Carbon 3D Compound (with silica and carbon black), in order to achieve the main goals related to such a high level of racing tires: grip, low rolling resistance and endurance. Another great feature of this tire is the new tread pattern which has been designed following the Prisma C.O.M. Vector Design: a slick central part with an orientated rhombus pattern on the sides, where each "rhomb" is shaped and oriented to perform better with side and breaking forces.
