The Vittoria Rubino Pro III bridges the gap between a tire that is incredibly durable and one that provides a supple and reliable ride in all conditions. This is in part thanks to the upgrade to a supple and fast rolling 150 TPI casing. Kevlar® Endura 3D compound provides long tread life and better grip especially in wet weather. The tread design has also been changed to the Prism Vector Design for more reliability when cornering while retaining a smooth center for fast rolling.

Great balance of service and performance
By Anonymous  from Indiana  - Cycling Enthusiast

I like that I haven't had a flat with Rubinos. I like that they're light for a training tire. I like that they have side tread, but a slick rolling center. I rode 6000 miles on Rubinos in 2011 I went used 3 tires for that mileage - 1 front, 2 back - without rotating and they took care of me. I ride 18-19 mph and a daily ride is 40-50 miles. I find myself 40 miles away from home often - I did 4 centuries last season. I like to roll as fast as I can, but I dislike flat tires more. Rubinos takes care of both.

great tire! it will go as fast as you want and not think twice. lean or pressure a hood and the bike will go where you want it. now!

DO NOT use tire levers with this tire. It is super tight and I took my sweet time on the bike trail today and installing them last night and you will pinch a tube with quickness. A ton of mixed simple green and fingers is definately the way to go. All in all, this is a great tire that you will not regret buying.
