Looks good although 14 inch wide tires seem a wee bit narrow.

A great looking riding tire for vintage ten speeds
By Big Mike  from New Brunswick N.J.  - Cycling Enthusiast

I like the look of this tire as well as the ride great for commuting in and around city,

would of been nice if it said " made in France" to go along with the components found on Vintage bicycles of the 1970s . I think it's a good value for the 27s

Look Great and Work Great!
By jcline  from Bradenton, Florida  - Cycling Enthusiast

Been eyeing these since they came on the site. Wanted something that looks retro and also performs. So far these have fit the bill well. I use my five bicycles to commute mostly. I seem to keep going back to an old 70's ten speed that is 36 years old. It has the flat sided rims that will only take about 75 psi. Anything above that they will blow off the rims.

My job sends me within a ten mile radius of mostly city type riding. I usually go in daylight and home after dark. I run over things that I do not even see. Even with a good light. So far these have handled that task. They roll well even though they are heavy. Weight is not an issue for me. For anyone who cares these are made in Thailand not France.

Mounting the tires take a little time and effort. They fit snugly and should be aligned carefully when mounting. Went to a 700-2532 tube as it fits into the tires better than a 27 inch tube. Watch for pinching when mounting. They are about a half inch taller than the 630-32s they replaced and changes your gear ratios. Notice the extra lean with the kickstand!

I am pleased with these tires and would suggest them to anyone wanting to dress up an old bike or commute.
