Mavic Race Pedals

Mavic is back in the pedal game with three models designed from the ground up. The Race is the more affordable and durable brother of the Race SL Ti only adding about 14 grams per pedal. It has the same light and tough aluminum body but has a chromoly axle instead of titanium. Also, the friction plate and rear lever are composite rather than carbon. The lever has an adjustable tension of 80 kg/cm to 120 kg/cm using a 3mm Allen key. All this rides on Mavic's smooth and durable QRM sealed bearing and an additional sealed needle bearing. The cleats are very similar to other 3-bolt road cleats on the market and have rubber pads on the bottom to resist wear and slippage associated with walking on them. Cleat mounting hardware is included. Included cleats offer 7 degrees of float. 0 degree float cleats are also available. Pedal spindles to do not have pedal wrench flats to save weight. They instead use an 8mm allen key for installation. 272 grams/pair (Weighed without cleats).
