Much faster than the original knobbys.

I bought a cheap sub $100 mountain bike at a department store to be used as a loaner bike on rides with friends. After a few rides I ended up riding "El Cheapo" home one day. After huffing and puffing all the way trying to keep up I realized why my friends always lagged behind. Got these tires and now its way better. The same amount of effort to cruise at 8mph with the old tires now gets this bike to 11 mph, much better keeping up with road bikes now. I may consider getting new tubes as the old 1.95 tubes fit but were kinda tight.
