Vredestein Bike Tires

Vredestein is a Dutch company and has maintained its own Malaysian rubber plantations since 1946. They are serious about bicycle tires. Below is what Vredestein has to say about their top quality products

When other tire companies were putting paraffin in their tread to increase shelf life (they still do, too-squeeze an unmounted tire at your retailer's to see for yourself), Vredestein was pioneering high-silica tread compounds to increase tread life without affecting handling or performance. When other companies buy natural rubber for their high-end racing tires to reduce rolling resistance, Vredestein has maintained its own Malaysian rubber plantations since 1946. Finally, consider the high-end racing clincher. And while other companies advertise "tubular-quality ride," Vredestein delivers. With a casing technology that permits a 145psi recommended pressure for lower rolling resistance and unsurpassed cornering consistency. Tread, rubber, pressure. Just three examples of the difference between precision, and fanatical precision. And between other tire brands, and Vredestein.

Technology

Full Contact Protection Exclusive to the Quattro TriComp, this improved puncture resistance system extends protection from the center of the tread, through the shoulders, to the sides of the tire.

TriComp Technology

Softer tire shoulder tread ensures the best grip while cornering, while a harder center tread provides a longer-wearing tire with less rolling resistance.

TriComp X Technology

Found on the Black Panther, TriComp X technology uses different rubber compounds in the tread and shoulder of the tires to assure the best grip and a longer-wearing, faster-rolling center tread.

Vredestein has a road tire for all riders. Pick the Fortezza Quattro Tricomp for an all season racing tire, the Fortezza TriComp their top racing clincher, the Perfect Moiree for city and touring bikes, and the Premiato Cyclocross clincher for you 'cross riders. If tubular is your choice go with the Fortezza Pro TriComp Tubular.
